Anjali is a staff pharmacist in Charlotte, NC. Anjali splits her time between Walker’s Drug Store and Carolina Pharmacy Arboretum. She was born in Detroit, MI, but was raised in Tampa Bay, Fl.

Anjali is married and is the mother of two wonderful young girls, named Serena and Aryana. If she does ever get any time to herself, Anjali enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants.

Anjali is passionate about spending time with individual residents. Her goal is to improve the health and state of mind of her clients.

Why did you become a pharmacist?

“My father and brother are both doctors. Initially, I wanted to go to medical school, as well. I decided to go to pharmacy school, instead, before beginning my medical degree. “In my position, I am able to positively influence my patients’ health, and have more time and energy to devote to my family. I did not believe being a doctor would afford me the same opportunities.”

What interests do you have that you do in your spare time?

”I do. I like travel, movies, new restaurants, and time with family and friends.”

Do you have a favourite sports team?

“University of North Carolina Tar Heels.”

What is your favourite food?

“I like Asian cuisine and brownies.”

What is the country you most want to visit?

“Thailand.”

Do you have a favourite place to travel?

“NYC.”

Brief info about your family?

“I am married and the mother of two daughters, Serena (4 years old) and Aryana (2 years old).”

What is one interesting fact about you?

“I have visited almost 30 different countries. I look forward to adding to the list as soon as our kids get a little older.”

If you had to choose a celebrity to play you in a documentary about your life, who would it be, and why?

“Deepika Padukone. Deepika Padukone is a talented Indian actress. I think she would have the versatility to successfully take on this role.”
