Dharmesh is a pharmacist in Lancaster, SC. He was born and raised in India, where he pursued a degree in pharmacy because of his desire to help people in need. Dharmesh graduated from pharmacy school in 1992, before emigrating to the United States to pursue the American Dream.

Dharmesh has worked as a pharmacist for over 24 years. When he is not working, Dharmesh enjoys heading to the golf course and going out with his friends. Dharmesh is happily married and has two wonderful children.

Why did you become a pharmacist?

To help people manage their medical needs, especially the most vulnerable populations (seniors, those with illnesses, and children).

What interests do you have that you do in your spare time?

Keeping up with current events, watching sports, and playing golf.

My family means everything to me. My wife - Bhavna, Daughter – Rika and Son – Roshan are all very close to me.

What is one interesting fact about you?

I love to help my wife cook different types of cuisine, especially Indian food!

If you had to choose a celebrity to play you in a documentary about your life, who would it be, and why?

I would want Tom Hanks to play me. I chose Tom Hanks because he seems to be a caring and thoughtful person.

Favorite Thing About Carolina Pharmacy?

It is a family environment both in the stores and from the upper-level management through to our store level staff and drivers. A great working environment and a company that truly cares about people over profits.
