Assists and supports activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine pre-packed orders. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Responsibility for all other duties assigned to them by the pharmacist/pharmacy manager including cleaning and keeping the store neat and organized.
Delivery Driver
Delivers medications, compounds, and other products to patients on a daily basis. Will collect signatures from those who accept the pick up. No other pharmacy-related responsibilities.
Cashier
Maintains cash register and rings sales in accordance with established procedures. Processes returns, refunds, and exchanges. Closes out register by counting cash and reconciling cash balances against the register. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. assists the pharmacy staff by retrieving filled prescriptions, processing payments and handling other tasks.
