Shay was born and raised in London, England. He attended Aston University in nearby Birmingham (in the U.K) for Pharmacy School. Within the last 25 years, Shay has been a Floater Pharmacist, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Trainer, Pharmacy Owner, and Pharmacy Consultant. He is a certified immunizer and the head of procurement. He also oversees the Medication Therapy Management program for all of our pharmacies, including our Lancaster pharmacy in Lancaster, SC.

Shay is licensed with the Boards of Pharmacy in North and South Carolina. In his spare time, Shay enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, watching sports, and cooking.

Why did you become a pharmacist?

“I liked Chemistry and healthcare, which led to pharmacy school.”

What interests do you have that you do in your spare time?

“I enjoy cooking and traveling.”

Do you have a favourite sports team?

“Liverpool Football Club and Carolina Panthers.”

What is your favourite food?

“Gora (an Indian Dish) and many desserts!”

What is the country you most want to visit?

“Switzerland.”

“Around the USA and overseas.”

“I have a very large family with whom I love to spend my time.”

“I won trophies at college for bowling.”

If you had to choose a celebrity to play you in a documentary about your life, who would it be, and why?

“Sean Connery. He has a great accent and has taken on a lot of interesting roles over the years.”
