Amy was born and raised in Lancaster, SC.  After graduating pharmacy school at the University of South Carolina in Columbia with her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Amy worked as a pharmacist for Walmart in many different locations in South Carolina.  During her time as a pharmacist with Walmart, she held many leadership positions and would travel to underperforming stores around the state to help get them back on track.  In 2019, Amy was looking for a change from the corporate pharmacy chains and met Chirag and Vic with Carolina Pharmacy Group.  Amy joined Carolina Pharmacy Group as a Pharmacy Manager in Lancaster, SC.  She is now the Director of Pharmacy Operations managing our 6 locations in the Charlotte area.
Why did you become a pharmacist?

I wanted to do something in the healthcare field, and I felt that pharmacy was the best way to have the most contact with my community.

What interests do you have that you do in your spare time?

Gardening, cooking, organizing, spending time with family, and shopping!

I change it up, but right now it’s anything Greek.

Brief info about your family?

My husband, Donavon, and I are married and have a daughter, Oakley, and I have a stepdaughter, Khloe.

What is one interesting fact about you?

I am absolutely terrified of birds. I will make a scene on a sidewalk and completely melt down if a bird comes near me.

If you had to choose a celebrity to play you in a documentary about your life, who would it be, and why?

I would choose Emma Stone to play me in a documentary. I love her pleasant attitude and her beautiful red hair.
